Lionsgate TV ink cope with R.J. Cutler

R.J. Cutler has inked an initial-look development pact for scripted programming with Lionsgate TV.Deal grows Cutler's relationship with Lionsgate, where he's already being employed as an professional producer from the ABC drama pilot "Nashville," composed by Callie Khouri for Lionsgate and ABC Galleries. "R.J.'s curiosity about growing his activities in scripted programming meshed perfectly with this need to continue dealing with him beyond 'Nashville,' " stated Lionsgate TV Group prexy Kevin Beggs. "He's an very creative and experienced producer and we are searching toward developing other projects together once we still expand our television business." Cutler at the moment can also be creating the docu "The Planet Based on Dick Cheney" for Showtime. He's noted for the feature docus "The September Problem" and "The War Room."
